AfricaWorks part of ACCESS employability project at University of Leipzig

We are pleased to announce our cooperation with the University of Leipzig in the ACCESS project. ACCESS is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service – DAAD and stands for African Center for Career Enhancement & Skills Support. It extends to the six partner countries of Tunisia, Ghana, Benin, Nigeria, Rwanda and Kenya and initially runs for five years.

In addition to improving the chances of African university graduates on the job market, the project includes a priority area “University-Business Linkage”, in which cooperation between universities and business practice is to be supported. Other areas include capacity building, employability research and the African German Entrepreneurship Academy.

The universities involved in the six partner countries are IRGIB Africa University in Benin, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana, Mount Kenya University in Kenya, the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, INES-Ruhengeri in Rwanda and the University of Tunis in Tunisia.
