AfricaWorks part of BET Ghana project by Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg

The BET Ghana (Building Expertise and Training for Growth in the Consumer Goods and Food Processing Industry in Ghana) project’s overall goal is to enhance employability and (self-) employment opportunities of students and graduates specifically in the Ghanaian consumer goods and food processing industry. This shall increase the competitiveness and growth in that specific area of the Ghanaian economy, eventually promoting innovation and job creation.

The BET Ghana project is supported by several private sector partners, specifically from the consumer goods and food processing industry in Ghana and Germany, among them Peelco Ltd, Koliks Ventures and Oye Industries as well as True Fruits, Africon, IHK Bonn/Rhein-Sieg, Messe Düsseldorf, and AfricaWorks from the German side. The partners shall
facilitate by the transfer of knowledge between UCC and the private sector.

With this project, AfricaWorks keeps extending its project portfolio and services in the area of Partnerships, a business branch of AfricaWorks that focuses on projects and programs with governmental and non-governmental institutions from the educational and the corporate sector.
