AfricaWorks participates at conference “Universities, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development in Africa”, Sep 13/14, 2018

Jörg Kleis is looking forward to give a workshop and participate in a lively discussion on our goal to connect the educational with the corporate sector. The conference is part of the project “German-African University Partnership Platform for the Development of Entrepreneurship and SME’s”, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and the German Academic Exchange Service, and jointly conducted by Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, University of Cape Coast in Ghana and University of Nairobi in Kenya. Jörg Kleis was also chosen to evaluate a business plan handed in by students participating in the ongoing competition.

In our workshop “Finding work – binding talent: How companies and alumni find each other” we will work on solutions for challenges, wishes and goals of African graduates and international businesses. This will be tightly connected to the podium discussion on “Entering markets: How can industry benefit from universities?” where we will also shed light on the critical points that come with doing business in Africa.

You will find the link to the conference program here.
